Idaho Youth Ranch Thrift Store Idaho Youth Ranch Thrift Stores believe that "one man's junk is another man's treasure". Each of us has an accumulation of "junk" that we'll never use, but someone else might want. Roughly 30,000 people each year make such contributions to IYR. Donors are entitled to both a federal and state tax deduction for the fair market value of their contribution. Idaho taxpayers are, in addition, entitled to a tax credit for 50% of that value, up to a certain limit.
