Greetings, Dear Readers! Miss Mary Jane begins her report with a review of the Linen District grand opening. Simply put: It was fabulous.
MMJ started with a pre-func cocktail at The Modern where she was joined by two of her BFFs (Julie O. and Signe W. -- great company and f-u-n fun).
We then sauntered over to the grand opening.
The building is a wonderful new addition to Boise’s severe lack of downtown (or anywhere for that matter) venue spaces for events.
Mira, David Hale’s event coordinator for the Linen District (and a stunning beauty I might add), did a terrific job creating just the right “buzz” and ambiance.
The music was lively, the drinks were good (MMJ speaks to that next), and there were plenty of appetizers to go around. (How many meatballs can one eat??)
The bar was run by MMJ’s new fave place, The Modern Bar, with her dear friend and new bartender of The Modern, Kevin, slinging the drinks. What a delight to see him again! It had been a long time. He is one of Miss Mary Jane’s favorite mixologists.
Ta Ta for now and remember, Miss Mary Jane really does want you to sit up straight and mind your manners.
